In 2020, Big Hit mentioned that they had plans on debuting a new boy group in 2022 during their corporate briefing.

Trainee A is a boy group rumored to be debuting under Big Hit Music in 2022. This is because well-established Big Hit producers Slow Rabbit, Pdogg, and Frants all follow the group on Instagram and have liked their posts as well.

They were first active mid-March on their Youtube channel. The group currently consists of 6 members: Inhyuk, James, Jihoon, Junil, Leo, and Sangwon. There is a possibility that more members might be added onto the line-up.

There is no confirmation for the above info yet so take all of this with a grain of salt for now.
